Source provides free access to a unique online collection of information resources. These include books, journals, manuals, toolkits, reports, posters, audiovisual materials, websites and organisations. Many materials are from developing countries and include both published and unpublished literature not readily available elsewhere.
The collection is managed by Handicap International. Co-winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Handicap International is an international aid organisation working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. Working alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, Handicap International takes action to raise awareness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.
Source previously managed an extensive collection relating to health and communications issues. This is no longer updated but all of these resources previously added or created are still available for download. Please search the databases or through A-Z keylist.
The Source leaflet and key lists are available both online and in hard copies. Please share this information with your partners and networks, and contact Source if copies are needed to distribute at conferences, meetings and events.
